ContactsLaw is the idea of contacts. Everyone you deal with is a contact. They are either an
individual (natural person) or an
entity. Contacts may acquire additional characteristics as you work with them.
- Contacts employed by your firm are also members.
- Contacts for whom you open files are also clients.
- Contacts to whom you pay bills are creditors.
- Other special type of contacts include banks, courts and law firms.
The Practice is a special type of contact. It is the first contact in every database and its information is used to generate the summary page, certain fields within the document template builder and a variety of other reserved purposes.
