ContactsLaw, you can use the
court appearance activity to record attendances for trials, summons, conferences and other court appearances. This activity takes the form of a
journal.
The court appearance journal extends the basic journal form with additional fields to capture information about the activity:
- Court contact
- Judidicary contact
- Court number
- Appearance type
- Proceedings
- Next appearance date/time
The above information is saved with the journal to create a complete record of the event. It is also used to build the description of the journal.
The list of appearance types appearing in the drop-down is configured at the practice level.
