Some types of work items in process models and document workflows in ContactsLaw can be marked as deferred. This delays creation of the task or item until a particular date, usually offset from the start date. Where a deferred activity is made conditional, ContactsLaw will evaluate the conditions at the deferred time (i.e. when the task is about to be created).
The ContactsLaw Daemon is used to schedule the deferred tasks, therefore in order to use this functionality you must also be using the daemon.
