ContactsLaw has the following minimum hardware/software requirements:

Client PCs

  • Hardware
    • 1GB RAM
    • 1024x768 screen resolution (1280x1024 recommended, dual monitors strongly suggested)
    • Internet connection recommended (for live content and ABR search)
  • Software
    • Windows Vista (Windows 7 recommended)
    • Office 2007
    • .NET Framework 4.5
To use the telephone integration features, you will need a TAPI-compatible digital or IP telephone system with appropriate drivers (TSPs) installed on all client PCs.

Application server

  • Hardware
    • 4GB RAM
    • 30GB storage space
    • Internet connection required (for software updates and license verification)
  • Software
    • Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition or Essentials
    • SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition
    • .NET Framework 3.5

Document server*

  • Hardware
    • 4GB RAM
    • 30GB storage space (will scale with number of users and length of use, up to 100GB recommended)
  • Software
    • SharePoint Foundation 2010
    • .NET Framework 4.5

Network environment

ContactsLaw is designed to operate in an Active Directory (i.e. Windows Domain) environment.
