A court is an entity contact that represents a judicial body. Examples of court contacts include state and federal courts, tribunals and other jurisdictions.

Files that come under a particular jurisdiction will be associated with a court contact. Judiciary contacts are associated with courts.

It is important to add either a physical or mailing address for each court contact, as courts are typically grouped by state.
