The
file liaison is an
individual on a
file who is the first point of contact for that matter. This contact is required when the primary
client is an
entity and optional in all other cases.
In the absence of a file liaison, the primary client may be substituted.
In order to be a file liaison, the following requirements must be met:
- The contact must have a telephone number
- The contact must have either a mailing address -or- both a physical address and an e-mail address
