The FRS Tools plug-in exposes a set of custom user fields which can be used on workgroups/files in ContactsLaw. Rather than simply capturing a property address as plain text, these field types allow the user to reference a property in the FRS database. The value of the field when used in document production depends on a practice setting which sets the format of the address.
The fields exposed by the plug-in are:
- FRS property - Simply stores a reference to the FRS property or, if there is no property, the address in plain text.
- FRS property acquisition - Stores a reference to the FRS property. When the fields are saved, the software will update the status of the property to 'Acquisition'.
