When you start
ContactsLaw, you arrive at the
portal. This is a set of screens that are customised and tailored to your personal
member profile.
If there have been any recent
announcements or software updates, you will see the
Today tab page. You can read the announcements and version notes from here.
If nothing has changed since the last time you used ContactsLaw, you will see the
Task list. This is a list of
tasks that represent your workload. You can also use the task list to supervise the progress of your subordinates, create new tasks for yourself or other members and view upcoming tasks.
The
Activities tab allows you to view the
time and
fixed charges you have recorded over a given period of time. It also serves as a handy mechanism to break down your day, enter any missing entries and tidy up existing records.
On the
Documents tab, you'll find a list of uncatalogued/unclassified
documents for which you are responsible. You should try to keep this list as small as possible.
Using the
Profile tab, you can view a summary of the information stored against your member profile and update your preferred name formats and electronic signature. You can also maintain your
CPD requirements and log here.
