Generate document (deferred) is a type of work item that can be used in process models. It is used to create documents non-interactively at a particular date/time, offset from one of the key dates on the file.
The ContactsLaw Daemon is used to schedule the deferred task, therefore you must be using the daemon in order to create this type of work item. Furthermore, some document template formats are not supported when running in this environment.
Configuration
You configure this work item by selecting the template you want to use, along with any additional action you wish to perform. Documents created by this work item are always
registered to the file, but you can also elect to
send or
open the document for editing.
The scheduled task will run on the date and time you select. Included is the ability to offset this by a number of days. If the type of date you select includes a time component, this will be reflected in the scheduling. If you do not wish to include the time component, select the 'Date only' option. This will remove the time component (i.e. the task will be scheduled to run at midnight).
